How to book a private tour?
You can choose a ready-made itinerary or build your own using our Tour Builder. After submitting a request, a manager will contact you within 24 hours to finalize details and book hotels.
How safe is Uzbekistan for tourists?
Uzbekistan is ranked among the top 10 safest countries in the world. There is a dedicated Tourist Police force, and locals are renowned for their hospitality and respect for guests.
How is the payment processed?
We work officially under a contract. A small deposit (Visa/Mastercard/Transfer) is enough to secure your booking, and the remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Tashkent.
Is there a strict dress code?
The country is secular with no strict prohibitions. We recommend casual style, but when visiting mosques and holy sites, it is advisable to cover your shoulders and knees.
Do I need a visa for Uzbekistan?
For citizens of 90+ countries (EU, CIS, etc.), a visa-free regime applies for 30-60 days. For others, it is sufficient to obtain a simple electronic visa (E-Visa) for ~$20. We will assist you with the instructions.
Do I need registration at my place of stay?
Yes, but you don’t need to worry about it. Hotels register you automatically upon check-in and issue a registration slip. Just keep these slips until your departure.
What passport validity is required?
Your international passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of your trip. Please check the expiration date before booking tickets.
Do I need to declare money at customs?
Yes, if you are taking more than $2,000 out of Uzbekistan. Amounts above this require a simple form. Generally, you can take out as much cash as you brought into the country.
Are special vaccinations required?
No, mandatory vaccinations are not required to enter Uzbekistan. We simply recommend having standard travel medical insurance for your peace of mind.
Which currency is best to bring?
It is best to bring US Dollars (new bills, crisp, without marks or stamps). Euros are also accepted, but the exchange rate might be slightly less favorable. You can exchange them for local Soums at any bank.
Do Visa and Mastercard work?
International cards work in major hotels and restaurants in Tashkent and Samarkand. However, for bazaars and smaller towns, you will definitely need cash (Soums). We will advise you on where to withdraw money with minimal commission.
What is the prepayment amount for booking?
To secure your guide and hotels, we require a prepayment of 20-30%. You can pay the remaining balance using a convenient method upon your arrival in Uzbekistan.
What if I need to cancel my trip?
If canceled 30 days in advance — 100% refund. If canceled 14 days in advance — we only withhold the cost of non-refundable tickets (train/air). We always try to be flexible and accommodate your situation.
Are there any hidden fees in the tour?
No. Our programs are “All Inclusive” regarding the itinerary (except for dinners and personal expenses). You will know the full final cost in advance — no unpleasant surprises on site.
When is the best time to visit Uzbekistan?
The ideal time is Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November). The weather is comfortable (+20…+25°C). Summers can be hot, while in winter we offer ski tours in the mountains.
How about internet and SIM cards?
We will help you buy a tourist SIM card (Uztelecom/Beeline) right at the airport for $5–10. 4G works perfectly in all cities and even on major highways.
Can I drink tap water?
We strongly recommend drinking only bottled water. We provide our guests with a supply of clean water for every day of the trip free of charge.
How should I dress?
Uzbekistan is a secular country; you can wear shorts and t-shirts. However, when visiting mosques (1–2 times per tour), shoulders and knees should be covered (a light scarf works well).
Is it safe to walk at night?
Absolutely! Uzbekistan is ranked among the top safest countries in the world. You can calmly walk around evening Bukhara or Tashkent; locals are very friendly and helpful.
