It is best to bring US Dollars (new bills, crisp, without marks or stamps). Euros are also accepted, but the exchange rate might be slightly less favorable. You can exchange them for local Soums at any bank.
International cards work in major hotels and restaurants in Tashkent and Samarkand. However, for bazaars and smaller towns, you will definitely need cash (Soums). We will advise you on where to withdraw money with minimal commission.
To secure your guide and hotels, we require a prepayment of 20-30%. You can pay the remaining balance using a convenient method upon your arrival in Uzbekistan.
