Treasures of the Valley: The Master's Path

This trip is an immersion into living traditions. We start by rail through the scenic mountains to reach Kokand — a city once ruled by fierce khans. You'll walk the halls of Khudoyar Khan's palace and then venture deeper into the valley.

The heart of the tour is craft. In Margilan you'll watch the magic of silk being born at a hereditary master's home; in Rishtan you'll visit the legendary ceramic workshops where clay turns into azure wonder. This isn't a checkbox trip — it's a journey for inspiration and a brush with the true art of the East.

About the tour

The Fergana Valley is the most fertile and warmest part of Uzbekistan. Three days take you through Kokand with Khudoyar Khan's palace, Margilan with Central Asia's oldest silk factory, and Rishtan's blue-ceramics school.
