Alpine standards in the Tian Shan

Amirsoy opened in 2019 and became Uzbekistan's flagship mountain resort. It was built to Alpine standards: Doppelmayr gondolas, an Austrian system of snowcats and snow guns, eight groomed runs of varying difficulty.

From skis to paragliding

In winter it's Central Asia's best ski and snowboard destination: season from December to March, average snow depth 80 cm, 860 m vertical drop. In summer the gondola keeps running — Amirsoy turns into a trekking base with routes to Big Chimgan peak, paragliding and mountain biking.

A jade lake next door

Half an hour away lies the Charvak Reservoir — a jade-blue lake amid the mountains — and the Ugam-Chatkal Nature Park hiding waterfalls and hot springs. From Tashkent it's a perfect weekend pairing.
